Summer of travel and touring for Robot Luv part 2 Las Vegas

In June I flew via Allegiant air out of G.I. Nebraska direct to Las Vegas for the Licensing Expo. This year will make my fourth appearance at the show.
The first thing I had to do was get a hat because the desert is no joke scalp burning hot! Then I was ready for my first day of the show.
What could be more Las Vegas then an Elvis ice sculpture?
Nice shot glass to keep.
Walking the hot streets doing a little site seeing.
Pink dog I saw on the elevator back to my room.
The morning of my big meeting, I wish I could tell you more about it but you'll just have to wait and watch my blog for details, all I can say now is that it went really well.
Dreamworks
Remember the smurfs? Well they are back!
I am a fan of Uglydoll.

Angry birds is bigger then ever!

Paul Frank as cute as ever!
Canimals are soo cute!
Despicable me characters.
Me and the Ugly Dolls.
Celebratory drink after a great last day of the show!
Sushi dinner.

From the bright lights of Las Vegas to the cornfields of Nebraska. It was a great trip!

Summer of Travel and touring for Robot Luv part 1 NYC

Wow the summer has gone so fast! It is almost  August already where has the summer gone! Let's take a look back at some of Robot Luv's summer highlights!

Back in May I traveled to NYC to attend Surtex and the National Stationary show. It was held at the Javitts Center in the heart of the city.
I stayed at  http://theoutnyc.com a fun trendy hotel just 3 blocks from the Javits Center. It was nice to be able to walk to the show and walk around the Hell's Kitchen area.
I made some new friends at the show and made new business contacts as well.

All in all I enjoyed both Surtex and the Stationary Show. I also took a walk through the
ICFF show. Such great design.

They were making these spheres on site, pretty fantastic.
These animals are made from cartboard boxes.
This Kayak blew my mind how by how beautiful it was.

 NYC sunset at the Pier.

Can't wait to visit NYC again, maybe for a little longer next time.

Robot Luv x Celebrity Style Lounges

Hello all I wanted to right a new post because it's been awhile and I wanted to tell you what I've been up to lately. The last couple of months Robot Luv has been participating in Style Lounges.

Back in January with the help of Jen Abrams of jenabrams.com I sent my I heart indie movies and I heart indie music tee among other designs to the Sundance film festival.
Robot Luv participated in a Pop up Style lounge which included two major events. This first event was held at the Michael Fatali Gallery located on main street in Park City Utah. The second event was a music house show sponsored by Koffeehouse Chateau. http://koffeehouse.com/show.cfm?id=92134

Celebrities who picked up Robot Luv tshirts included Cystal Bowersox
http://koffeehouse.com/artist.cfm?id=13990 and Tony Danza.
In February Robot Luv teamed up with Renee Simlak Productions, reneesimlak.com to donate tshirts for her Pre Oscar style lounge held at the W hotel in West Hollywood. Attendees and celebrities really liked Robot Luv's tshirts, including Stephanie Drapeau, a T.V. (Castle) and film actress.http://www.stephaniedrapeau.com
Style lounges are really fun to do and I will continue to do them. Look for my updates on twitter to see what events I'm doing and up to the minute photos and comments on the behind the scenes action!

Robot Luv Launches an Animation Project on Kickstarter

Yesterday I launched an animation project called "Animate the Robots" on Kickstarter. I am ready to produce a 1 to 3 minute animation pilot to show at a convention called MIPCOM in Cannes France.  I have dreamed of seeing my Robot characters move on screen for awhile now and can't wait to take this next step toward my goal of an animated series featuring my funny, quirky, Robot characters. I have met with executives of animated networks both in the US and internationally who are ready to see my animated short. So with the help of all you lovely people we can take Robot Luv to the next level together! I have a very nice team of animators standing by to help me out and we all can't wait to get started!
MIPCOM is a global conference for entertainment content. It is the place where star creators, deal-makers, executives and on-screen talent from TV and Film converge from around the globe to create a new world of entertainment.

Please take a moment to follow this link and see if this project is of interest to you. I think it's going to be fantastic and can't wait to see it in motion, pardon the pun!
